Wrecked Tired But I’m One Hell Of A Happy Bunny After The Madness That Was Chelsea!

I’m still recovering from the shock of it all! I think I have aged at least 3 years over the last 6 months but I can’t complain as we are now officially R.H.S Chelsea Flower Show award winners. Both myself and Damien (my Mister!) have been walking on air since our return as we had the most amazing response to our work over in the U.K. I lived, partied and most importantly, studied & trained in glass for 6 long amazing years in the U.K so I was so happy to launch my bespoke garden features at Chelsea, the most prestigious garden show in the world….Amazeballs! Take a look at me with our chief…my wonderful Nanna Maria Divito pictured here at Chelsea and drop by again to see more shots uploaded over the next few days in the Projects section too.
While I was at the show I also met a hilarious, totally refreshing and fascinating Irish comedienne Sheela-na-Gig aka Jeanne Rathbone who mentioned me in her blog…..check out her full site if you get a chance, she’s a scream!
Hot on the heels of Chelsea I was also invited to exhibit at Coombe Trenchard Arts and Crafts Garden Festival in conjunction with Gardens Illustrated Magazine. The festival is held in the grounds of this magnificent Edwardian country estate with has, what can only be described as totally magical gardens, in the heart of West Devon. The owners of the estate Sarah and Philip Marsh have spent the past 4 – 5 years tirelessly restoring the house, but mainly the gardens, to their former glory. It was really fabulous to exhibit my art glass pieces throughout the grounds and the effusive welcome extended to us by both Sarah, Philip and their lovely family was just wonderful.
Stay tuned to the this site as very soon (in the next few days in fact) we will be launching our new online gallery/shop and to celebrate it’s launch, there will be some beautiful handmade crystal flower pendents up for grabs. Details of the competition will be advertised soon. Good luck!
